Repair Damage Files Fast

Like cell phones, TVs, and cameras, computers have become part of our everyday electronics used in our workplaces and homes. We expect them to work all day, save our work, deliver our work, and even entertain us for hours. Again, like other electronics, computers do sometimes require service.

Your hard drive may begin to fail, your programs caused your data to be corrupted, or become victim to a destructive virus. If the damage is severe, your important files might be affected. It is common to salvage corrupted files even if they haven’t been backed up.

There are online file repair services and repair program tools to try restoring your damaged files. Some tools are in the box retail, shareware, and freeware. The file repair tools digs deep into the corrupted files and extracts fragments of data then attempts to create new, undamaged copies of your files.

Generally, file repair can fix the following common types of corrupted files:

  • Word documents (.doc, .docx, .docm, .rtf)
  • Excel spreadsheets (.xls, .xla, .xlsx)
  • Zip or RAR archives (.zip, .rar)
  • Videos (.avi, .mp4, .mov, .flv, .wmv, .asf, .mpg)
  • JPEG, GIF, TIFF, BMP, PNG or RAW images (.jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .tiff, .bmp, .png)
  • PDF documents (.pdf)
  • Access databases (.mdb, .mde, .accdb, .accde)
  • PowerPoint presentations (.ppt, .pps, .pptx)
  • Music (.mp3, .wav)

Keep in mind, there are times where a file is so badly compromised that the data is lost. File Repair can still extract data from it, but it may not be complete. There are many tools out there to try. Here is one mentioned from Kim Komando that is freeware program to try – File Repair. You should search for available repair tools.
